The Ski area Silvretta Montafon Nova is one of the most fascinating and best laid out winter sports areas in Austria, and is the largest in Montafon. Three feeder cable cars take winter sports enthusiasts in the shortest time up into the Skigebiet Silvretta Montafon Nova, which covers a wide area. Thanks to its altitude of up to 2,300 m, it is one of the most snow-assured winter sports centres in the Alps.

ski freaks and families
Silvretta Montafon Nova does however above all mean enjoyment: wide slopes, treeless and gently undulating terrain, steep and challenging slopes as well as a wealth of deep-snow and Spring snow slopes. A fascinating world for beginners and skiing or snowboarding experts. Winter hiking trails (more than 5 km) lead to viewing points with magnificent panoramic views of the Verwall, Rätikon and Silvretta ranges.
The highly motivated employees in the eight mountain restaurants with a total of 3,500 seats and the same number again on the sun terraces spoil guests with many culinary delights from local and international cuisine. At weekends the Silvretta Montafon Nova provides additional attractions, with events and live appearances by international bands.
Ski pistes and valley runs secured
Well over 100 km of ski pistes at all levels of difficulty are groomed to the highest standards by 30 snowcats. The snow-making machines down to the valley stations of the Versettla Bahn in Gaschurn, Gafrescha Bahn and the Valisera Bahn ensure valley runs into the Spring. The piste from Schwarzköple down to the Valisera valley station is, at 14.5 km, the longest valley run in Montafon.
